I Think Forgiveness Is Good For the Soul

Carrying the hate is like drinking poison and hoping someone else will die. All it does is destroy you. We have to let it go and move on. Not always easy but better than letting it eat us up inside.

Very true and desperately needed. For me it was only possible though faith and with God's help.

Needed that to forgive a few others too though to be perfectly honest. Living with a truly forgiving heart makes a ton of difference in your life and opens up so many opportunities that a person might otherwise never even know about.

Indeed - Holding ourselves to a higher standard diminishes hypocrisy and identifies character. But we must realize, we can’t change the past, only control the future.

And is certainly much lighter to carry than hate!
