I Want To Tell You What I'M Doing Today

Normally I don’t want to complain, but I think this justifies it.

I’ve been sick for 3 weeks now. When does it end?

I started having symptoms, then went to the doctor about a week later. They said it was pneumonia. I took their damn medicines like I was supposed to. Now it’s 3 weeks later, and I still have symptoms.

On top of that, my back started acting up about 2 weeks ago. I could handle one or the other, but two things at once? Really?

This is the second time I’ve been seriously sick this year - I had the flu back in March. Is this the way my life is going to be forever?

I have a doctor’s appointment the week after next, about the pneumonia. In the meantime, I’m seriously considering a chiropractor for my back. (And I suspect most of them are frauds.) Due to another health issue, I can’t take ibuprofen or any drug in that family. It’s been Tylenol and the heating pad for me.

If this is what old age is going to be like, I’m not sure whether I want a long lifespan.

Pneumonia takes time to heal, and your body is probably reacting to everything you have been through emotionally. You might need anti-inflammatories for your back, or a good physiotherapist. Check with your doctor before you visit that chiropractor.

When I had pneumonia it took 4 weeks before I quit coughing. I went to my masseur because my back was sore from coughing.
I hope you feel better soon.

Ugh, I hope this clears up relatively quickly for you! Cuz being ill is such a waste of time. Hugs!
