I Love Watching Thunder Storms

i remember as a small child watching them with my parents and counting to work out how far the storm was. i think it was because of them doing that i was never afraid of thunder and lightning. and up in till i was in the 4th grade i was one of the only children in my school that wasnt afraid of storms at all. the only time it scared me was when the school was struck during lunch and we were all watching it.

I love them now, but as a child I lived in a heavily wooded area and every time I heard the crack of lightening I was scared a tree would fall on my house.

Weirdly enough it's thundering and raining right now :) Ha, it scared me one when my dad was driving in phoenix arizona, our small truck the wind was so loud an the truck, a small blue 2 door 92 ranger was being pushed around by the wind, off traction from the rain and the thunder was so loud I wanted to cry. i thought we were done for lol.
