I Have Been In An Abusive Relationship

Not me......a friend....but.....

How do you deal with knowing a loved one is suffering abuse from the person who supposedly loves them? Mental abuse. They have confided in you.....but they keep going back because they love the person. There has been violence too....and control.....
Its so hard standing back knowing this is happening to such a wonderful sweet person.
Now....they no longer confide in me.....i worry one day something awful will happen....
