I Don't Do Drugs

Another way to destroy life.
Another suicide mission
Insanity to the highest level....DRUGS
I do drugs. Overtime they will damage my liver and lower my IQ. They even made me a target of bullying in school due to their harmful effects on my appearance.
But you're probably not taking about prescription drugs, are you?
Probably the ones that are really bad for me.. I was an addict as a teenager. I used these drugs to keep myself going. They were so good.. sooo addictive Cheap too. My parents didn't tell me they were bad. I didn't know much better. I had no idea they would harm me so much. I started to get depressed if I didn't have them. Nothing gave me pleasure while on them. The only thing that brightened my day was getting my fix. I'd try anything and everything to seek pleasure elsewhere.. talking to people online, reading, video games.. anything. I couldn't figure out why I was so bored. I had no idea that it was because of the drugs. I mean.. they were so good. And they're not regulated where I live. I almost killed myself because of their role in causing my seizures. I let my little sister have some because I thought they were so good. She didn't like them so much. She needed less to get a fix and she'd be good for days. I guess I had a tolerance. She couldn't understand my facination with the drugs.. but it turns out my mom was on them while pregnant with me. Apparently if you take too much while pregnant with a kid it can cause their brains not to form correctly and leave them more predisposed to become addicted to these drugs if they try them later in life. They can also lead to all sorts of problems later once addicted.. neurological disorders, obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, mental disorders like anxiety and depression, and they can worsen already existing problems that I had like PTSD, anxiety, depression, etc.
But you probably weren't talking about sugar or caffeine either, were you?

I suspect you mean those deemed illegal by those that rule us, yet help themselves to? And not prescription drugs, over the counter medications and food with caffiene in, alcohol, dyes, favouring etc?
