I Am a Beach Person

I took my two neices to Daytona Beach over the summer. One of them is 6 the other 9 and they live in Wisconsin. We were standing in the edge of the water and the younger on stepped on a fish. She was fussing about a fish being in HER water. I could see a larger wave coming in and was trying to tell her to get ready for it. The wave hit us and pushed her down on the sand. She got up covered with sand heading back to the condo we had rented for vacation. She was never going to get in the ocean again. The older one and I stayed out and sure enough about half an hour later the younger came back ready to play in the surf. I never will forget this incident and like to remind her of it on occasion.
