Love is not always about a tender kiss
Or even a longing gaze
Sometimes love is less than wonderful
It can be holding a cold compress
Or helping them get to the bathroom
Running to the store for medicine
Or just listing to them yell or cry
You see love is about being there
No matter what happens
Though the good and the bad
From the happy to the sad
When you find that kind of love
