She drips with passion
As if the dawn
Set beads of Dew
Upon her lips
And all the senses
I once owned
Lie scattered
At her fingertips ...

An old poem I wrote
Innocent as scars on schoolboy knees
Left unhealed, but still throbbing
Vibrant as the pulse that fuelled the pen to scorch the page that set my desire alive...spill so vibrant in my memory.
The color of love stains the book with the ink I spilt...and I can't let go of the quill.
