Shine a light into the darkness
With color and brilliant sheen
Illuminating the corners
Casting out the shadows
In my pallid mind
Each broad stroke from his pen
Giving my dull life
A glimpse of rainbow hues
With crystal clear understanding
Staining my world with color
Beautiful wisps of prismatic light
He writes
And as he scribes the last word
Making a final arc from ink to air
With a golden spark combusting from the page
Igniting me in its radiating light
Reminding me
How cold and grey my existence was
Encouraging me
To expose my heart to the warmth within
The kaleidoscope of love.[/b]
