I Remember My First Crush
I still think about her- I was in elementary school. I went to an after school program at a local after school program. My second year there, a new girl came to the program.
She was only a grade below me and really cute. I became good friends with her. She was probably the first best friend I had. Our friendship was "interesting," some days she was my best friend, playing on the playground with me, sitting next to me on the rug, etc. And other days she was really mean.
Anyway... I realized the next year that I "had feelings for her," (remember: I was in elementary school). I tried to do the things an elementary school kid would do, like, hugging her, always playing with her, and giving her toys, lol. Everyday when she got picked up I would say bye to her and her mom. A few times out moms came at the same time and would talk and we would go back to playing. One time our moms were talking and she was about to leave and we have each other a hug. Then when we stopped I looked at the mom, and she had a strange look on her face. (I only realize now that she could tell I liked this girl).
At the end of my 5th grade year, I learned that she would be leaving, I remember being really sad, then I wasn't at the center on her last day. I still remember that to this day.
