I Like to Cook

Love It... I haven't had a chance to in a while, what with this semester bearing down on me, and shortage of funds, but today, I had a chance to go on a major shopping trip and finally to cook a meal that wasn't pasta, instant couscous, burritos, or microwaveable. I made a homemade mushroom soup and a tofu/vegetable brown rice stir fry, and it was delicious! :) I was going to make biscuits to go with the soup, but I had enough that I didn't need to. I may tomorrow though, as I have lots of leftover soup! Cooking is just very relaxing to me, but it is time consuming. It was great to have the time today to be able to cook! :)

Have you ever checked out epicurious.com? You can find some great recipes with ingredients that are pretty cheap to find. Being a student myself I am in the same financial problem and it is tough trying to find dishes to cook on a budget.

Cooking is good. You'll eventually be finished with school and (hopefully) have a decent employment situation afterwords. They you won't be living on instant, frozen or fast food junk. REAL FOOD!

Cooking is very relaxing. I think men are better at it than woman.
