left hand is worsening

I had a nasty accident long long ago which required surgery on my left hand. It never regained it's full strength and I cannot use it very well. I have noticed the past few months it has weakened further. I am afraid someday I will not be able to use it at all. It is bad enough both of my hands are becoming arthritic. My fingers love to lock up and cramp on me over the dumbest things. The other day I was using a spray bottle of cleaner and I must have pumped it too much for my hands liking. My fingers locked up and curled so badly I had to pry them straight to stop the pain. This is getting ridiculous.

I had a similar thing happen once from intense repeated movement.

I ended up seeing a physiotherapist for hand exercises.

The idea was to keep the ligaments trained for movement.

But I also watch now for how I use my hands.
And those damn trigger sprays are a terrible strain on the hand.... If possible - loosen the lid, squeeze the bottle, and get the liquid to soak into a cloth - then use.

This also stops overspray and breathing it in.
