I Write Poetry
Dancing ballerina, in a jewelry box
You like to keep me hidden, you like to keep me locked
If you really looked, if you really watched
You'd see the cracks in the porcelain, you'd see the fragile spots
You like to see me spin and twirl
You like to wind me up
And when your done, you've had your fun
You close me right back up
And if anyone should see what you hold, you snatch me right away
For I am yours and yours alone, no one else allowed to play
Dancing ballerina, in a jewelry box
Watch me spin, watch me twirl
I can never stop.
