I Write Poetry

the stars shine in the night sky
the sun shines so brightly
I have to shield the sun from my eye

the tree sways a simple bend
the breeze whistles past my head
I am alive in this sea of life

my heart asks my eyes to see
your radiant beauty as you walk
towards me

I smile greatly as I realize
that you are mine
such a wonderful person
truly so divine

love might be a game for some
but for us love will be
the thing that binds and holds
for many years to come
