[b]Severed Solace[/b]

Bearing the tainted heart
She walks into the water
Droplets gilding over the skin
Currents flowing around and between
To be cleanse
The surface grows old and weary
Shrivels away
Unearthing the sickness beneath
Filth clings onto her
Aye, the disgusting unwanted

Perhaps..
To cross the River Styx
And shake the hand of Mighty Hades
In a soul-breaking compromise
A heart for a heart
Rotten for rotten
Head into the sweet sweet Lethe
