I can't wait forever
For you to change your mind
It's funny how my heart clings to you
I know that whatever
In the future you may find
You don't think I love you but I do


I will always be there
Any time you need a friend
Whenever your world needs the sun
And I will always care
I'll be here until the end
But in the quest for love I'm done

Won't play games no more
It's time to protect my heart
And guard it from feeling so blue
But no matter what's in store
And when your tears start
Just know that I'm still here for you
