I Am a Bad Speller

The only reason my spelling appears to be on point, besides the fact I know the spelling of some basic words and words I've used a lot, is because I use Grammarly. So to show that I truly am a bad speller, I'm typing this without correcting my spelling. Like seriously how am I a bad speller but am somehow a good reader? If it weren't for spell check almost all my essays would have bad grades due to my horrible spelling. Anyone else out there a bad speller? Damm it is this really going to end with my having great spelling, because that's just not how I am.

I'm terrible at spelling as well, always have been. I'm good with words, but spelling most of the words I want to use is the trick. I have improved a lot over the years through practise though. A lot of times I select a word to type that I have a good idea how to spell instead of using the word I really want to use but can't think of how to spell it. I am not very good with reading either though. I'm a numbers person.

@gmatthewb I'm better than I was in high school though, all those paper and editing them with Grammarly have helped
