I'm told it's two hundred and twenty kilometres to Rome from Naples and it will take forty six hours to walk it. I'm game! I'm going to set off before lunch, and see how far I can get before nightfall. I have changed from my sandals to my walking boots, long skirt and a loose top, my backpack tight strapped on!
Just need some water, I think two two litre bottles will get me along the way, and some unsalted nuts and raisins for energy as I walk. That will suffice!
