I Have Lost a Beloved Pet

I miss my dog. He was mostly a Golden Retriever. His name was Oro. He was my brother's dog but he became my dog. My little brother begged my parents to buy him a dog and after he begged them so many times they found a dog for him. My brother lost interest in Oro and he became annoyed when the dog followed him. He didn't want to play with the dog anymore and he called him a stupid dog.

It broke my heart that my brother could be so cruel to Oro so Oro became my dog. I loved him, fed him and played with him. He even slept in my bedroom.

I loved him but he died too early. He was bitten by a snake but when we got him to the veterinarian it was too late. I cried for the dog but my brother also cried for the dog. He didn't care for Oro while he was alive but he cared when it was too late.
