I Believe In Karma

Whilst not a catholic article of faith, I believe in cause and effect, karma. What you do in life echoes in eternity, and you need to be careful how your sins if unrepented can weigh on your soul before God when you are judged. Nobody wants to spend long in purgatory!

Thinking on karma can necessarily help shape your actions so that you are sensible and pursue your life with as little friction in the lives of others as you can possibly make. It is something you must think about if you are spiritual at all, and thinking about it will help you make righteous decisions in your behaviour.

To some this idea might be old hat, even misplaced in a modern world of no limits on human behaviour even where the law of your society is concerned, because most people seem to think if they are not caught by secular authority it doesn't matter, they've gotten away with it, never seeing the stain their actions leaves on their soul,. Just because you don't believe something doesn't mean it isn't so. Do you want to be fair to others and in your turn, have faith, that others will be fair to you.

Will it all balance out in the end? Who can know?

I believe in our doing evil to others, we feel that others can do evil to us. If we are pure, we believe that others can be pure. :)
