Did he die?
Lilymoon · F
@FreeSpirit1 No I may have worded that wrong. haha
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
Even though it took a long time to make that album it was so worth it and so cool that he was determined to drum again and they waited. They’re one of my favorite bands!
Lilymoon · F
@Keepitsimple Yep.. very cool.
Amazing talent. Amazing bandmates who wouldn't let him give up
Lilymoon · F
@PrivateHell yeah the tenacity alone is admirable

I saw a documentary of his experience which was quite eye opening. He said he spent some time off to decide what to do next, meanwhile his bandmates had an impromptu meeting where they really missed him and then asked him if he could stay. Empowered, he had his drum kit modified as he shifted mental gears to compensate. What evolved was a mastery of skills he perfected that inspired the group to new heights and hits! I admire that shit, alot. Pour some sugar on him!

It reminds me of when I dislocated my right shoulder (I'm right-handed) which was very painful and had no use of it for a few days, but still had to go to work. I found that my body made an adjustment towards lifting, pushing, pulling, leveraging and manipulating with my left arm to compensate for my right. However, I found that learning to sign my name left-handed was the hardest thing to do.

What I noticed was you end up using the ball of your inner hand to sort of 'crawl' as you write. And with a bit of pressure you can mimic what your other hand has perfected. I did notice that your mind kinda tells your body to make it happen, and you're keenly aware of it doing so.

Btw, here's the documentary...
