I See Ghosts

But not the kind that you first think of. I'm talking about ghosts of past self. I'll walk by a place that I used to hang out as a kid an I can see what I used to do. I can see my past self sitting there talking with old friends. See my self on the swings. See my self smoking where ever I used to. And honestly I am not happy as to where I was. I can see myself where I used to be and know that even though I thought I was okay, I wasn't. But now I'm building myself up. And I know I'm glad I didn't end myself.

My only wish is that when I see those places again 5 years from now, I'll see a different ghost of myself that I can smile at.
