Think about it; music and film and set all leading up to that time....so you get all the classics too?

Fantastic! People seemed to be quite happy.....musically in the UK we still had the Spice Girls, Brit Pop and Take That....

....and, at the turn of the 90's we had 'The Matrix'

Those were interesting times, the early 2000s mobile phones were becoming a thing with every kid wanting to get the coolest, and that one rich kid that has the best one kinda like a brick but also high tech. The cartoons were better and don't get me on the video games which were also booming together with the internet

I grew up in the Disco period and the eighties. Angel flight pants and mullets for hair. Some things you can never do again. On the down side it was the peak of the AIDs crisis so we had to live like monks.

@Tastyfrzz Hey, the music was cool in the 70's and 80's.....fashion disasters? Well, the whole Oasis look is something that I feel was pretty bad....and, don't get me started over the whole baggy jeans and having them lower than your ass kinda look! Not nice!

I think each generation has some positives and some negatives....

Low riders were way after my time. We had bell bottoms and super tight polyester slacks. They were so tight they'd lift and separate my butt cheeks! I wore some on a date in February to see the movie ice castles in Grand Rapids and got frost bite on my thighs just walking from the car to the theater.
