I Want a Best Friend

I want a real best friend! The kind that would do anything for me. I've had best friends I would do anything for, but never one that would do anything for me...

I'm always helping other people out, only really staying acquaintances. I thought I don't have anyone to just hang with, binge watch Netflix shows, try new hairstyles, and hike in the creek with.

I try to get my mom or my daughters but nobody wants to do anything I want to do. I want someone who choreographs a dance to our favorite song with me texts me when I need a pep talk. Stupid things, silly things, serious things, boring things, fun things!

Do women not do these things anymore? Were we supposed to grow out of this phase of life and I am just trying to relive my high school days?
