I Love Ice Cream
I typed in ice and this is what came up. I don’t think sw is geared up to the experiences of people trying to get to school or college or work in the winter! Well this morning there was ice on the inside of the windows of the car. Not just outside. And it wasn’t ice cream in case you’re confused. I am talking about ice.
And the journey to the bus stop. It was like the Ross Ice Shelf from Antarctica had decided that the hair pin bends on the way down from the mountain was just a good place to be.
Dad makes me drive to the bus stop. To give me experience! And then he drives back. It was so scary! The final drop into the first hair pin bend is usually like a river but it was frozen. And the first hair pin bend was, well if it had been glass it would have been safer. I never seen so much ice in one place!
I approached the ice in second gear but because we were going slowly I wanted to change to first, but I held the car in neutral and that was a mistake. I could feel I had lost control. Well I learnt by my experience and we got to the bus stop in one piece!
