The spirit of giving

My cousin spotted a squirrel out on her back porch. She researched what is safe for them to eat. She would place a peanut or other treat outside for him each morning. Since his favorite treat is a peanut she named him Goober (peas) lol. He was a generous squirrel because each time she'd place something for him, he'd give her something in return! He'd give her a stick or a rock or maybe a leaf. I thought the story was just too adorable not to share. They are so smart and thoughtful! I had no idea they knew anything about trade deals lol 🥜🐿️
