I Am Hard To Figure Out

I'm pathetic. Pining after someone who is long gone. My days are up and down. Today I'm down, waist deep in a pool of sorrow and self-loathing; nothing new to be honest. I drove to the mall and bought myself a nice pair of shoes. I went to a coffee shop and read some C.S. Lewis over some coffee and a blueberry muffin. Then I sat outside for a bit before the rain came in. I drove to a park and sat outside some more because I knew it would start raining any minute. I came home and sat in my garage. I sprayed my new shoes with some protective treatment as there is supposedly genuine leather on them. It felt nice to just sit in my garage. I grabbed my guitar and just start screwing around on it. The rain came in gently and steadily. I'm just sitting in my garage listening and watching the rain. Even rainy days are nice sometimes so long as you take the time to appreciate it. I actually like the rain.
