I Have To Say About Dating And Relationships

I got played several years ago. She was nothing but an internet predator. We met on a dating site and had talked for quite some time. Much later we had a couple of dates, and everything seemed fine. Then, she told me about losing her job and her ex not keeping his financial end of the bargain, which all turned out to be legit and not her fault, and that her kids didn't have anything to eat. Even my counselor thought everything was looking good, and that it was safe to "loan" her some money until she could find another job to practice her nursing. She found another job in a short time, but the $2600 I loaned her never found it's way back to my pocket. She was suddenly nowhere to be found. Upon investigation, I soon came to find out the house she said was hers, wasn't. Neither was her cell phone. Everything was untraceable. She was so slick, and, I'm sure, well-practiced.

I’m guarded...... even with someone I feel like I’ve known for years ... actually I have known him for years..... but still I’m guarded and refuse to be be “played” again .... I’m sorry someone did that to you 😞
