I Don't Trust Easily Anymore

I've had some online friendships that turned sour towards the end. Those people pretended to be supportive and thoughtful only to show their fangs and treat me like I'm trash. I'm going to be more cautious from now on. I am sick and tired of it happening over and over again. It's emotionally stressful and I don't need the drama.

It's why I keep this place on a short leash, emotionally. I once gave over a lot of my hurts, weaknesses, and they got used against me. I'm friends with the person still, but I'm the forgiving sort, and it's not her insights were wrong.

So if you are looking for a friend to chat with, here and there, about anything, I promise that I can do that part, and if I felt I was getting 'close' to you I would tell you, and you could tell me off, and if it was the other way around (yeah, right), you could tell me, and I would tell you as much I'm hopeful, that's not that I want.
