I Have My Own Worst Nightmare

I'm living my worst nightmare right now.

Trapped both financially and emotionally in a dead-end rural town, with people I can't stand, unemployed, no car, no friends, no hope of any way out. The weather is exactly what I hate most- hot and humid. The landscape is ugly. The people are gruff and uneducated. The house I stay in (not mine) is dirty, smelly, and toxic with cigarette smoke and mold.

My entire existence right now [i]IS[/i] my worst nightmare.

@SW-User I would. I actually have a guaranteed job in Tennessee if I can just get there and find some place to stay. But that's easier said than done.

@SW-User the only family I have are my mother and my brother. I've never asked them for anything but I asked for help getting out of here. Mom promised to help, then at the last minute said she couldn't do it. Brother hasn't replied.

I'm not one of those people who has a reliable, supportive family.
