I Am Currently Reading This Book

I have been reading [i]The Guineveres[i][/i][/i] by Sarah Domet, and I am almost done with the book. It is about four girls all named Guinevere (I believe that it takes place during World War II in America) who come from unfortunate backgrounds who come to be educated in a convent and want to leave to be out on their own before they turn eighteen (A girl's eighteenth birthday is the day where they can leave the convent to go out into the world on her own path). When four soldiers who are in comas come to the Sick Ward of the convent where a lot of the old folks are, the girls get excited about the young, battle-ridden, and unconscious men, and they want to each become a nurse to each boy. The Guineveres hope that when the boys awaken, that they will be able to go to their homes away from the convent, and live with their own families, fall in love, and get married. It is definitely an emotional story in many ways, once you get into it, and each one of the girls has her own exclusive attitude and appearance which make them all memorable characters! I don't want to give too much away, though! :)
