I Have Something to Say
Do random scents or smells take you back in time, or make you all nostalgic. Well i'm very nostalgic and sensitive. One slight smell and i'm drawn. Here's the ridiculously random example. The smell of Mcdonalds Black Coffee reminds me of Paris/Disneyland..so thats Mcdonalds Coffee - Paris Disneyland
Its like this. Coffee is usually ordered at early breakfast hours. And i don't drink tea or coffee, so it needs to be a time, early, and out with parents. These restaurants are a good stop before a long journey, we would pick one up at a service station in the early hours, were my dad would need to stop for petrol first anyway before we hit the motorway through England to Calais, to catch the boat to France. And like i say, i don't drink it. So i rarely smell it, and being so sensitive id say Mcdonalds one has its own unique smell..some would say "Is that smell CHEAP!!" well maybe.
I've been on holiday to certain places in England and probably had the same travel..long motorways, early service station stops, bite to eat at a Mcdonalds restaurant there, black coffee for dad...but the most frequent and most recent one has been our trip to Paris/Disneyland. Been three times, have an obsession, love Paris and french culture. And hooked on Disney!!!♡♡♡
So to sum this up. There's the occassion i go by and smell it, if im now on holiday with friends cause we're up early to catch a train and they maybe go to the bathroom there, or to simply grab something to eat..but the smell of Mcdonalds Black Coffee will always remind me of an amazing few holidays before hitting the open road to DISNEYLAND PARIS
