I Have Something to Say

I think something is wrong with me. No matter how much water I drink im still thirsty i drink like 4 bottles of water a day and feel dhydrated still. My mouth is dry, i get headaches if i dont drink enough, and I wake up from being thirsty. Somtimes its unbearable! Ive been to the doctor a million times they cant find out whats wrong with my weve ruled out diabetes and ive lost like 90 pounds this year and it still hasnt gotten better. ughhhhhh.
You may want to see a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. They recognize a condition called "thirsting and wasting disease" which sounds like what you have. This would be treated with herbs and acupuncture.

I dont believe in chinese medicine sorry.
@AnnRose: It doesn't matter if you believe in it, any more than it matters if you believe in Western medicine. It just works.

The mother of a lady I work with was suffering from sciatica and nothing seemed to help. I suggested that she see an acupuncturist, and she had instant relief. I should add that this is an elderly woman, very religious, not exactly the kind of person who would be predisposed to have a psychosomatic cure.

Anyway, if you don't even want to try it, that's your business, but it certainly can't hurt.

Do you have an electrolyte imbalance?

After looking in to iron deficiency I see that craving non nutritive substances is one of the signs, so that would explain the thirst
