I Have Something to Say

[c=#7700B2]March 22: World Water Day[/c]
[image][c=#003BB2]Water is the essential building block of life. But it is more than just essential to quench thirst or protect health; water is vital for creating jobs and supporting economic, social, and human development.

Today, there are over 663 million people living without a safe water supply close to home, spending countless hours queuing or trekking to distant sources, and coping with the health impacts of using contaminated water.[/c]

It truly is amazing ... water is more valuable than oil ... it covers most the planet ... with relatively low-tech ways to access it, clean, transport and store it ... yet, people still go without ... and treat it like it was valueless ...has always amazed me.

And something those of us in countries lucky enough to have regular clean water straight from the tap take so much for granted

yes we take water for granted, it's so obvious for us to have it all the time without quotas....!

And...that´s one of the main reasons why more and more people like Ted Turner are buying land here...
A big thumbs up for your post, Tanoos. Sadly, that too many of us forget, that the water cycle and the life cycle are one.

We take water for granted,but when we have a cut for whatever reasons we realise how vital it is to life and to living.
