I Have Something to Say

Why is it society is always pushing love down our throats...

Like, all the commercials I've seen involve couples.
In most things media related, there is either a happy couple, or a single person unhappy and looking for love.
Why can't they make a commercial/show that features a happily single person?

I know love is fantastic... but it's not the end of the world if you don't have it. :/ Not all single people are miserable either.

Because most advertising is geared towards women and women have had the idea of "love' shoved down their throats for so long that many have subconsciously accepted that it's the only way to be happy.
