The BIG LIE is about an insurrection on Jan. 6.

I'm curious (in a non sarcastic way), how would you define what happened on Jan 6?

We lives through it and saw it on TV. Some came with zip ties or chanted to hang Mike Pence. They fought with Law Enforcement. They broke into the Capitol, smashing windows. They rifled through offices and paperwork looking for Intel. Some mentioned that they may as well start a new government when they were inside. This appears to have been done in opposition to the government functioning and to stop that function. People died, people were hospitalized. I say this as a base point of understanding to start from. How would you define what we all saw?

@TryingtoLava Well, certainly most know that was first used in My Struggle-- But "The Big Lie" is the talking point first used by Joe Biden to describe Trump's insistence the election was fraudulent. Furthermore; Goebbels put the finishing touches on the definition of "The Big Lie".

But the question still remains---- Why is one an insurrection and the other isn't?
