I Have Something to Say

The book 'Snakes in suits' describes how psychopaths abuse power.

Around 3–4% of more senior positions in business are psychopaths. They manipulate their way to get a powerful position and abuse their power.

I'll ask for it as I remember Oliver Sacks.
That was his name right, Oliver? That crazy weightlifting guy who help a lot of people.... : )
Very interesting although personally Think that 3-4% sounds low.

Not every abuser of power is a psychopath.
If you count al abusers, than I am convinced the percentage is much much higher.
I agree that not all are psychopaths or sociopaths but I do think the percentage is a bit conservative and I have a suspicion as to why. I think some know how to fly under the radar better then most. A friend of mine who was very highly intelligent but also suffered from mental illness a few years back checked himself in to the hospital. Later he told me that if he wanted to he could get himself discharged because he knew enough to know what all the right answers were to get out. I suspect that might be what happens here is some are better at projecting "normalcy" to the outside world and know the right answers to the right questions.
