@Jimmy2016 They were giving the run down on that a few days ago. Every government building in DC has its own cell transceiver station, each one of which keeps a record of every cell phone that transfers to it as being the nearest one. Walk into any building with your cell phone on and there’s a permanent record of your visit.

@Zaphod42 🤔....I see. That would make sense then. But a persons phone could still access the cell network from outside of the building, so I would not think that would not be a slam dunk on being inside of the building. Working in IT, I can see every computer and phone that is connected to our company network via WI-fi and Ethernet connectivity.

@Jimmy2016 Given the materials the buildings are made of, it makes sense to me. It’d be like trying to get an outside cell signal in the sub basement of a high rise.
