Fossil Fuels don't have long to go... :)

With every fossil fuel company going bankrupt, with every fossil fuel power plant going offline, with every percentage point fossil fuel energy producers cut production by, their political power decreases.

They can make noise, but they will less money to bribe- sorry - lobby governments. This year, BP has written off major assets and employees. Chesapeake is bankrupt. Murray energy is bankrupt. Slowly, the spigot closes.

More people are employed nowadays in the energy transition than fossil fuel industries. I don't think it will take even another four years before big renewables are going to lobby governments far more powerfully than coal/oil/gas companies. When that happens, people will listen!
It won’t be quite so clean cut as you’re thinking. The military will still be priority consumers for fossil fuel. It’s likely we may well move to electric or hybrid but the military will get what they need, it will be a long long time before anyone is going to trust an electric fighter to intercept threats.

People have been saying this for decades. Fossil fuel will be here until it runs out.
its easier to build components in a factory then dig up and transport oil.. profit margins.. fuck all to do with bettering the environment..
