Shout out to everyone who was forced to internalize all their emotions growing up...

... and now have a constant underlying anger that colors every part of their lives because they never got to learn how to process their feelings.

#story of my life

Mine isn't anger..I have really messed up anxiety because I wasn't allowed to process emotions.

@Viper I'm old..I have had anxiety since I was smol..panic attacks started in my 20s..identifying my triggers, understanding my physical responses to it, that helps. Therapy also helped me to become aware, and to process it safely without cutting a bitch.

@SW-User Thank you for not cutting me! 🤗 Well you are awesome and an amazing person.

And now we interalize that anger also.

@kodiac We've got to learn to process the emotion in the end.

@Tinkerxbell It's hard to know how to process rage. Anger was one of the emotions i was trained to surpress at all costs.
Anger isn't my issue... I learned to dissociate and now I have three known identities and at least one who is unknown to me.
