I Have Something to Say

[c=#359E00] Anonymousity must be exterminated from internet. There must be somekind of ID that show people's face and address and any personal info to make them behave.[/c]

[c=#359E00]This way people Will think twice before talking, just like real life.. people know how to shut up because they fear someone will punch them[/c]
Such online identification is and would be painfully easy to fake.

@SooperSarah Yeah, my home state doesn't want to implement it either. But will it include citizenship info?
@sarabee1995 I have no idea what all goes into it. I've heard almost nothing about it since moving here.

@SooperSarah Yup. There's a lot of anti Federal ID card sentiment in the US, and the "Real ID" is basically a federal ID issued by the states.

Hm I disagree. Freedom of expression and the like.
We already have tools to block/mute/report/remove people if they're bullying someone.

You have to trade in freedoms to enforce measures beyond that, so it's not really worth it. It would also open the doors to more invasion of privacy not only by companies and others, but by those who would harrass you. Then what, we have a social credit system for the internet like in China?. That's an awful idea.

@YukikoAmagi are you "positivi" sure you want that? lol.
I don't need or want to?.
@Ryannnnnn [c=#359E00]you're boring. Let's stop this. Well if you still talk after this we all know your quality as person[/c] 😂😂

@YukikoAmagi I lots quality as persons, me positivi much yes 😂

You have a point, but the problem with that path, is that it leads to even more surveillance. Some people might not want to post anymore if their colleagues could see all their stuff, might lose your job over some virtual experiences, stuff like that-
Axelerator · 26-30, M
@YukikoAmagi In some ways maybe. But if you take the idea further, you end up with a surveillance society, which is nearing everyday already tbh.
@Axelerator [c=#359E00]this surveilance got nothing to do with our online life, people still act like idiot and talk as they like. We need more actual control[/c]
Axelerator · 26-30, M
@YukikoAmagi Well the two are connected i'd say. But this is a talk of free speach it seems.
There are several potential solutions. One as you mention could be imposing restrictions on it, or creating a reactive punishment for saying something deemed improper by whoever would be deciding it.
Another option would be for people collectively to become "better" at handling ideas, espcially offensive ones, growing a thicker social hide can be beneficial.

Still worth discussing for sure :)
