I Have Something to Say

[c=#359E00]For anyone who believe something because there is physical evidence and witness : remember that physical evidence can be forged and false testimony can be made. Just because 'some guy' tell you this and that on TV then you believe it like that's the truth. Human is capable to lie[/c]

Exactly why so people doubt religion. People can lie and give false testimonies. The reason people believe things reported on t or other physical evidence is because (ideally) they provide sources that you can personally look in to in order to verify that information. If they don't provide a source, yes, they probably aren't credible. And of course, if something sounds fishy, DO look in to that source for reliability.
@Madhatter [c=#359E00]the problem is.. i'm sure that some lies are too big and too realistic[/c]

@YukikoAmagi The scientific method is great for testing validity of information. Along with a finding, they also provide the step by step instructions on how to replicate friendships in great detail. That information is later verified by an unaffiliated party who either confirms or denies that validity. This process may be repeated several times by several groups and, theoretically, could be replicated by you as well. This is an example of reasonably reliable information you can safely believe in.

Witness testimony is unreliable, as studies have shown that with time, the mind alters events in your memory and those testimonies can often conflict with video evidence. That's before you even factor in the possibility of deceit.

The difference between these two is in the number of people providing the information, who is providing it, how much is being provided, and your ability to replicate those findings. Typically, if you cannot replicate it, you should be wary of trusting it.
