John 15:8 Doesn't say that you need to take as many people with you as possible. It says that you should bear much "fruit", as in being a good Christian and continuing doing God's will.
And it absolutely doesn't say that if you "fail" in converting people you have "failed" God.
Stop twisting the scripture. Instead quote it properly.

@MartinTheFirst The sentence is in 2 parts: making Heaven & winning souls.
One who professes to be a Christian but does not make heaven has failed already, has he not? And if a Christian does not look to preach the Gospel, he has failed already, has he not?
