Had a great day! Got a 23 lb turkey for $19.00, got other supplies... (hubby and I always host a Thanksgiving dinner for our residents! We're having it next week... no, you guys aren't invited. lol It's just for residents!) 馃槣
Then we met up w/ my Dad and sister at a restaurant called Whiskey Cake and had dinner! (It was yummy and YES they DO have a real Whiskey Cake and it was DELICIOUS!!!!! It's my sister's birthday so we got a piece (their big) and four forks and we all just went to town on it!)
Pretty soon my sis and I are going to Build-A-Bear! It's a tradition for my sister's B-Day. She embraces her inner child like I do! 馃構
@yeronlyman I had a Pastor who really taught me by example to give to others. And he always would go BIG!!!! So we go BIG!!!! And since he died, it's a way of honoring his memory every time we fix a huge meal for people.
