I Like Dogs

Dogs have been a part of my life since infancy. My parents' dogs were so important to me as a child. When I married, I took their dog with me. He had bonded so closely with me, that he was like my child. My husband also had a dog. Then on our 3rd anniversary, he adopted another dog as my gift. That made three dogs in our household! As the years have gone by, I have always had at least two dogs at all times. Six years ago, I decided that it was just too expensive to care for so many pets. We had lost our last dog to old age at 17 years old. We decided at that time to only have one dog and one cat. Did I mention that I've always had a cat, too during my adult life? Anyway, we adopted our current dog who is now five years old. Every one of our dogs (and cats) has had a unique personality and preferences. We have wonderful memories of every one of them. I can't imagine life without a dog.
Aww, what a beautiful girl! They certainly do learn how to communicate with us quickly and push our buttons. What is her name?
