I Support Gay Marriage [Gay Marriage]

Because I don't have a reason not to.

Needless to say that argument isn't very effective with people. At least the Constitution picked up the slack finally.

The government got it wrong IMHO. They should have never recognized it and instead stopped recognizing all marriage.

However I think the Federal government should have decided that giving any recognition or privilege to wedded people is discrimination and favoritism against unmarried people.

I don't think our tax dollars should wasted on the courts with marriage and divorce. It's silly archaic cultural tradition that should be treated as such in the eyes of the law.

As it is the Federal government already made it so it's not a state issue. By forcing all States to recognize it, they took the power from the States
