I Write Dark Poetry

i wish i could just say i want to talk to my best friend
to just have you there for me
my beloved heart
but i will do this alone
im used to falling
having no one to save me
ive been in the dark for so long
why should i cry for you
youre not coming
never again
but i still cry for my best friend
i know i have to fight
with no one by my side
so far away
crying out my hidden tears
the shadow of your hand passes through mine
its not easy being alone
