should she dare dream
of being his

hes beautiful
and she is a beast
should she dare ask
for his kiss
no
her lips are hungry
and his are gentle
should she dare fall
in love with him

he is wounded
and she is a hunter
should she dare call
out to him
no
she reaches for him
but he pulls away
should she dare want
his touch
no
his arms are bruised
and she is one more scar
should she dare look
in his eyes
no
her eyes are wicked
and his shine
should she dare wish
for his heart
no
his heart beats
without her
should she dare come
out of the shadows
no
she dares not
