I Write Dark Poetry

she stands
at the waters edge
looking out at the sea
somebody help her
she doesnt want to do this anymore
her life is nothing
she is nothing
the sea is calling
like a siren
its pretty majestic stillness
a invitation of her death
silent crys
within
pulling her towards darkness
with her eyes closed
and one last living breath
she is a whisper of a ghost
who was there

I assume she stands alone, and choosing the sea she looks out and the vast view before her, and she has to have some hope, standing at such a contrast. And if she's there she has undoubtedly spoken, whispered, and shouted to the darkness to provide any ounce of proof to tell her there is still hope, begged for someone to come help, even if in an obscure way, for just one person to be there with her.....she is, the one in the mirror who looks back, the piece that's survived all that dark yet still glows.
