I Love the Beach

Five years ago, I spent much of my after-work time in January at the beach because it felt like spring; mild, gentle breezes, no snow, and very little rain. This January has been the absolute opposite of that.

Wow. Where’s that?

@QueenofCups Great shot. That’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen in a long time. Not exaggerating.

@SW-User It is gorgeous. 🙂

@QueenofCups One wouldn’t think Earth could be this beautiful. Looks like some serene place on a distant planet.

Is that an island? Wow to live there...(mind it looks a bit cold in this pic)
QueenofCups · 41-45, F
@GeniUs Not an island, and the temp was low 60°F.

the stand of trees isn't an island? (this land is your land. this land is myyy land. from californie.... goddamnit, now I'm gonna have to listen to that). it looks a bit.... desolate. like smaug's been hanging out there.
QueenofCups · 41-45, F
@SW-User I suppose it could technically be an island. Not much water around the other side as it's pretty close to shore. It's a clump of rocky cliffs and trees. I've seen people climb it when the tide is WAY out. It's not as desolate as it might appear, and no signs of dragons with British accents.
